ASICS introduces its most innovative tennis range ever

[13 Dec, 2022 – HOOFDDORP, NL] Ahead of the 2023 season, ASICS unveils its most innovative Tennis range ever: the COURT FF™ 3, GEL-RESOLUTION™ 9 tennis shoes, and a technologically advanced apparel line. The new products have been developed at the ASICS Institute of Sport Science in Kobe, Japan, where each new product is rigorously tested in accordance to the four principles of ASICS Design Philosophy: Athlete testing, biomechanical research, craftsmanship and sustainable innovation.   

COURT FF™ 3   

Developed in close collaboration with 21-time Grand Slam winner, Novak Djokovic, the COURT FF™ 3 now boasts an industry-first three-piece outsole to provide more flexibility and comfort than ever before. Results of biomechanical testing at the ASICS Institute of Sport Science resulted in a 7% lower impact on the body* at the point of ground contact, compared to the previous model, ultimately reducing stress on the body and enabling a quicker recovery.

GEL-RESOLUTION™ 9 

Built for the baseline player who requires a supportive and stable shoe, the GEL-RESOLUTION™ 9 tennis shoe provides ultimate stability while improving comfort compared to the previous version. A redesigned DYNAWRAP™ technology holds the foot in place securely on the platform, while the new DYNAWALL™ construction improves lateral breaking time, key for the baseline player. Results at ISS show a 4.5% improvement in lateral break time, compared to the previous version enabling a smoother transition return to ready position. 

NEW APPAREL RANGE 

The ASICS Tennis apparel range has been completely redesigned to focus on comfort. Insights from tennis players of all levels shared the need not to be distracted on the court especially during tennis-specific movement like serve, forehand or backhand. Which is why we have designed the ZERO DISTRACTION™ apparel line with improved sizing, a more comfortable fit and strategically placed technology where tennis players need it most, for less distraction on the court.
