ASICS launches updated trail innovations, including the GEL-TRABUCO™ 12 shoe and FUJITRAIL™ Apparel Collection to help runners move their mind.
[February 1, 2024 – Hoofddorp, NL] – ASICS today launches its new trail running campaign with a call to action to ‘Move your mind on the trails’. The campaign features the new GEL-TRABUCO™ 12 shoe alongside a new edition of the FUJITRAIL™ Apparel collection.
The GEL-TRABUCO™ 12 shoe has received minimal updates compared to its predecessor, which received leading industry awards in the last season. Magdalena Gassebner, Senior Product Marketing Specialist at ASICS EMEA describes the changes: “With the 12th edition of the GEL-TRABUCO™ we’ve stayed close to our Japanese roots, reflecting the practice of Kaizen, which translates to ‘continuous improvement’. The GEL-TRABUCO™ 12 features an FF BLAST™ midsole and 3D SPACE CONSTRUCTION™ technologies to create a cushioned and stable ride. The outsole featuring ASICSGRIP™ technology allows for grip on various terrains and with the forefoot rock plate and toe reinforcements, the foot is protected from any sharp debris found on the trail.

The FUJITRAIL™ Collection latches on to ASICS’ overall apparel claim: Run distraction free. Features such as seamless design, aimed at eliminating chafing and enhancing freedom of movement, and ACTIBREEZE™ Technology to help keep runners cool on the trail on the warmer days, ensure that the collection does not stand in the way of a trail running adventure.

The artwork style has been derived from hand rendered Japanese traditional patterns, bringing the collection closer to its routes.
